  • Everyday we work to improve ourselves and our health through training, good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle but every once in a while we need a little push and extra accountability to meet our goals and stay on track.

    In 2015 Primal Gym will be hosting 3 Body Transformation challenges at those keys times of year to help take you to the next level.

    They will be laid out as follows:

    Lean and Mean 2015: 
    (Jan 5th – Feb 14th)

    Project Ripped 2015:
    (April 6th- May 16th)

    Back on Track 2015:
    (August 31st -Oct 10th)

    We’re only 6 weeks out from the Family Day Long weekend and Valentine’s Day and we all wanna be ready for those Ski Trips and dips in Heart Shaped Jacuzzis

    For most it has been a long holiday season which tested our discipline and led to a great deal of indulging and comfort eating coupled with very few trips to the gym. Now that the Holiday hoopla is over, it’s time to refocus and get back on track with the training and diet.

    This is not a fad, quick fix diet/training program we’re trying to push, we want to create long lasting, permanent results for everyone who undertakes this journey with us. This is a peer motivated, guided commitment to healthy eating and exercise over the next 6 weeks and beyond.

    Here’s how it works.

    Come into the gym Monday January 5th or Tuesday January 6th or 6am or 6pm Team Training and sign up. NO EXTRA COST. You can choose a partner or you will be matched up with a partner and will do an initial assessment. This assessment will include weight, BF % and measurements. It is also encouraged, to take before photos. Then every Monday or Tuesday from now until the 14th of February, you will come in with your partner, re-assess all your numbers and check in.

    WHAT AND HOW DO I EAT?

    There are a number of different nutritional strategies that can be employed to promote fat loss while simultaneously keeping energy levels high and providing your body with the nutrients it needs.

    The two main ones we are going to focus on are Ketogenic Eating and Intermittent Fasting (IF). We will post more information regarding these styles of eating in the next day.
